Love their breakfast
Friendly staff and great breakfast menu.
Busy. Worth the wait. Kids loved it. Couldnt eat it all.
It was good. Nothing special.
These waffles are beyond edible. Must try😊😊😊
Great pancakes and great service. The rest of breakfast was just ok but super quaint and busy little place.
Very cute, old place to eat. Food was great, plentiful. Service was very quick and prices fair. Highly recommend for those looking for breakfast before setting off to sites.
Our server was friendly and the food was decent. I was really craving some brunch-type food so we decided on this place. I appreciated that our server recommended I did not order an avocado because they were pre-packaged and not very fresh at all. I was told that the potatoes were gluten-free and later got sick that day so I found out myself that they were not. I would love if in the future items could be labeled whether they are gluten-free.
Good old fashioned breakfast.
We have been coming to Pancake House for years. I have to say this year was a huge difference. The staff seemed very unhappy. Also, please do NOT put avocado toast on your menu and use pre-packaged guacamole. I paid $21.95 for two orders at our table and all we ate was the egg on top. That is a lot of money for two eggs. I did complain to the server and she said "sorry" and walked away. We won't be going back!
Really cute small diner feel. Food was amazing. Service was quick and friendly. Each time we visit Mackinac Island we always have breakfast here first!
Four of us eating, for $61. We had pancakes, biscuits and gravy, a skillet, and waffle with ice cream. Nice people and good service!
Horrible !!!!!! We waited at our table for 15 minutes to be noticed by our waitress. We waited another 15 minutes for our drinks. ( and that was after me asking a different waitress if we could get our drink order filled, we were never told they were changing the Coke syrup out ) I ordered the island breakfast. I got two over easy eggs/white toast/sausage links/hashbrowns. A chicken strip basket and a cheeseburger and fries. My eggs were cold my toast was not toasted the sausage links are not pork their chicken and the hashbrowns were burned. The best experience about this place was the Coke and paper straws! We paid over $50 for this meal! The service was absolutely horrendous! We will never be back .
Food was good but service was slow. Better to go when it is less crowded
Salmon BLT was great. Friendly great service. The Lilac Hotel is across the street.
Little cozy restaurant in the heart of the town. They catered to my child's allergies and went above and beyond with their customer service. Expect to spend a little more than you'd think.
Great breakfast! Simple and straightforward. I got the island breakfast and my wife got the biscuits and gravy. We loved both of them. Also, the service was friendly and the food came out unexpectedly fast. We were in a hurry to catch the ferry and the fast service made the difference.I would definitely go back here again. The price might be a little high, but you're on an island!
They pretty much have everything for breakfast !! The skillet was awesome, going back tomorrow morning... You won't be disappointed at this place !!
Best Eggs Benedict with avocado, actually the best hollandaise sauce.
Great food; wonderful staff!
This is one of the nicest breakfast you can have on the island. Breakfast options are kind of limited. And the food/ dining experience on the island needs lots of upgrades. For lunch and dinner I always go to the Yankees Rebel restaurant. After visiting 3 times, and trying so many places, it comes down to these two places for breakfast and lunch and dinner. Many people recommend the Chuck Wagon but I was never able to get in because the place is so small and always crowded, and their food options are too greasy for my taste. My family always stay at the Main Street Inn and Suites, you must call them or email them on their website to reserve but they are so nice!
The feel of the Restaurant is warm and the initial cashier was super friendly. It was busy so I was assisted by another person. He was so so. I ordered an Avocado Eggs Benedict and Fruit Cup to go. The first issue was that the menu had the Fruit Cup at $3 and some cents. When I got the receipt it was $7 and some cents. Secondly, got home, opened the box and there was no Avocado. The Bennict was bland, boring and sadly the worse one I ever had. It's disappointing. For my first time not sure I would return. The friendly cashier is why it got 2 stars. This was not worth $24.27.
Best breakfast on the island by far. I had the sausage skillet it was amazing. The service here was the best I have received here yet from the minute I walked in the door. As I have been eating breakfast and lunch by myself while here because my wife is in conference's during the day you would not believe how much you are overlooked when your alone by servers but that was not a problem here. I wish I would have found this place earlier all of my meals would have been here. Breakfast all day and lunch menu looks great also.
Best omlet I've had in a while.
The food was Delicious! I highly recommend the skillet breakfasts. The staff was friendly. A little small inside but the workers and food make up for it. Would definitely go back!
Great food and great service.
Bring your mortgage punt, you'll need it. . Good food and fudge
Food was pretty good but rather expensive for my liking.
Delicious breakfast and very friendly staff! Portions are good as well! Cute building.
Pumpkin french toast was phenomenal!
It took a while for my son and I to be seated, and for some reason the people were not very welcoming. I was getting ready to leave when I was finally asked if I was going to dine in. I said yes and was seated. I placed my order and it came out rather quickly. The food was good, but I was not impressed with the service and hospitality. I can't say if I would go back or not.
Awsome food ,Awsome wait staff. Worth every $$$
Good food, the most reasonable place to eat on Mackinaw island
Good food, great selections
Love the food and the atmosphere. Fluffy pancakes and huge variety of breakfast choices. Yummmmyyy!
Our server was great, but the food is not very good and super expensive. Find another place for breakfast, the lunch isn't so bad. Do not get the corned beef and hash (CBH), it should be renamed the Canned Beef and Hash. I'm not leaving this comment to be a jerk, just trying to stop others from making the mistake of ordering it like I did...
We ate here two days in a row. Loved the breakfast, skillets were amazing and the staff were very friendly.
This is the place to go. Staff it top notch. Always willing to help.
My husband and I came here on a Saturday, the restaurant was very busy, but they sat us down pretty quick. I had a Belgium Waffle and my husband had the Sausage Skillet. Both of our meals were fantastic and the service was very quick. Our food was hot and the whole time eating it I don't recall it getting cold. The pricing of the food was reasonable and acceptable. I suggest coming here for the breakfast food.
Food was reasonable for a tourist trap town. We ate wit 8 people, including 2 kids for $80.
Friendly service, great food with large portions. I recomend sharing a meal and saving room for ice cream. One downside is they don't let you sample any of the ice cream which is kind of ridiculous .
Great food and quick service thank you
Wonderful breakfast place with great pancakes
best pancakes on the island, always good service, choose the ham
Service was awesome. The food was delicious
The breakfast I had at the Pancake House on Mackinac Island was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. The meal I ordered had poached eggs on an English muffin with ham, avocado, and hollandaise sauce. It came with a cup of strawberries and blueberries in the fruit cup as well. My husband and I also split an order of cinnamon chip pancakes. Everything was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to go back to the island and eat there for breakfast again.
Restaurant was clean and cozy. The first place we ate breakfast on the island early in the morning before the rush. The staff were friendly and prompt but a little inexperienced. We had to ask for silverware after our breakfast had already arrived. Minor details. Our waffles and pancakes weren't very hot. It didn't help that the syrup was ice cold. Could have been a fluke that morning. Coffee was hot and fresh. I would definitely try their breakfast again. The breakfast prices were the highest we came across on the island ($45 plus 20% tip for a couple) but that is to be expected for the island. Not bad, but could have been better for that price. Will try again.
They always have great pancakes good breakfast
Pancakes were good. Waitress could have been nicer.
Very good place for breakfast at affordable priced
